Welcome to AECS Maaruti College of Dental Sciences & Research Center – Bangalore
AECS Maaruti College Of Dental Sciences and Research Centre was started in 1992 by Amrith Educational And Cultural Society, Bangalore under the able guidance and stewardship of it’s Chairperson, Smt. V.Geetha Devi, who is a qualified educationist with a passion towards education and Sri. R. Venkatesh, Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the Society, who carries with him vast experience of starting various professional courses in rural areas of Kolar district .
AECS Maaruti College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre aims at a healthy integration of both Eastern and Western dental health sciences to enable the human kind to live a full span of their lives provided by God in perfect health.
It would strive for achievement of academic excellence by educating and training dental health professionals, who shall recognize health needs of the community, carry out professional obligations ethically and equitably and in keeping with the National Oral Health Policy. It would promote development of scientific temper and oral health for achievement of academic excellence by educating and training accountability amongst students and teachers. It would support quality assurance for all its educational programmes. Excellence in dental education is the motto.

Greetings from Bangalore. You are looking in to the Website of AECS Maaruti College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre. This college has made a study and phenomenal progress since its inception in 1992. In addition to the Undergraduate programme in dentistry the college is having Post graduate programmes in 5 branches of dentistry.

& Research Center, I take this opportunity to welcome you to our institution .The inception of this prestigious institution goes back to the year 1992. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and is recognised by the Dental Council of India for imparting training in the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate courses in various Dental specialties. Our institution aims to provide healthcare to all while imparting high quality health education in a safe and clean environment Our institution is recognised as a center of excellence in dental care and research.It has always been in the forefront of academics and innovation.It aims to provide dental health care in an environment encouraging good diagnostic and therapeutic practices . Our faculty comprises of talented and renowned teachers who are well equipped to impart state-of-the-art training .We have had
numerous rank holders over the years. Not just on the academic front but on the sports front too we are no less prolific. We have had many sports champions from our institute. Admissions for the above said courses are via counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for Neet exam qualified candidates who have passed 12th standard /+2/2nd PUC/any other equivalent exam for B.D.S. course and Neet exam qualified B.D.S graduates for M.D.S course. Students can get admitted to the college through the counselling conducted by KEA directly without approaching any touts.

Out of this quota of 100 seats. seats available for foreign nationals are 15 & 5 seats are institutional preference seats. Seats unfilled even after KEA counselling will be filled by the college as per the KEA guidelines. Lecture Hall
Cool airy lecture halls with audio visual aids enable students to study in an ambience that is calm and at the same time promotes learning.The lecture halls overlook the sylvan settings with fresh flow of breeze from the adjoining Hulimavu lake.
Library
The college has a spacious and well-stocked library.The computerized library with Internet facilities and CD-ROMS on dental topics, lectures of eminent doctors, reports of diagnoses and discoveries make information available at the fingertips of the students. There is a complete stock of international journals on dentistry and dental newsletters.
Hostels
We have separate boys and girls hostel with mess facilities. The hostels are located inside the campus for the safety of the students and the mess is hygienically maintained to serve healthy and tasty vegetarian food.
Girls Hostel
Entire campus is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras for safety of students.
Canteen
The college’s canteen caters to day scholars, patients, staff and hostelites and provides hygienic South Indian, North Indian and Continental vegetarian food. Vegetarian Bakery products are freshly prepared on prior orders.

Entire campus is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras 24×7 for safety of students.
Health Care of Students
Bannerghatta road has a chain of excellent multispecialty hospitals and are always ready to provide the extra touch in medical care for our students, in need be.
Green Campus
We have a Sewage Treatment Plant on campus.
Ample rain water is harvested well and college provides it’s lion’s share of rain water to fill up the underground water stream. Rain water is filtered in multi levels and then joins the underground water solar water heating and lighting considerably reduces the power consumption.
Medical wastes are appropriately collected and disposed off to in an eco friendly manner.
So our Dental College campus is truly a blend of modern convenience and a green campus.
Sports
Our dentists to be are also encouraged to be physically, mentally and emotional fit. A part from external courts volley ball, basket ball court, cricket pitch and jogging tracks, the college has two indoor games areas for chess, table tennis, carom and other indoor games. In addition courses in yoga and breathing techniques are offered to interested students.
